Creations By Erik was started in early 2008 as a project for me to showcase some of the work that I had piling up over the years. The web development and web design area of expertise is one in which you must always be expanding your knowledge. Through the Creations By Erik web site I hope to continue my learning of the vast amount of web based technology available and share my thoughts on what I already know and what I have learned recently.

So you want to know a little bit more about me, huh? My name is Erik Minkel, and I currently live on the beautiful Palouse in Moscow, Idaho. I am attending the University of Idaho for a double major, Bachelors degree in Information Systems as well as a Bachelors degree in Production & Operations Management. I am originally from Western Washington. Once I obtain my degrees I hope to find a job in the greater Seattle area.

Web background

I have had an interest in web design since my mother first purchased our family computer back when I was about 11 or 12 years old. My fascination of how websites were constructed propelled me to read all the information I could get my eyes on about it. I have taken college level courses on web design, however, they did not help me learn anymore then I have taught myself. I continue to learn and teach myself when I have free time from school.

I currently manage a few personal website projects as well as help my clients with any questions they may have during their challenge with owning and running a website.
